Just a remind that we will start preseason the Monday September 12th at both Neshaminy and Upper Dublin from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. and continue every Monday and Wednesday until mid-November. Again there is no cost associated with this so come and get ready for the upcoming season.

Amanda and Caitlyn
Mohawk Wrestling club is honored to have the Walker Girls (Amanda and Caitlyn) as part of their family competing at the Elite level of the sport.
Amanda is an 11th grader at Upper Moreland High School and besides wrestling International competition will compete as a member of the School’s Varsity. Amanda had a 22-10 record and was a District Qualifier last season. Caitlyn will be a 9th grade at Upper Moreland and is planning on competing for the Wrestling Teams but might be restricted because of her weight. Caitlyn won two league titles in Middle School against all boy’s competition and is a multiple time Folkstyle Girls State Champion.
Caitlyn is currently a member of the Cadet National Teams and will represent the USA in Tbilisi, Georgia. She is currently in camp in Minnesota preparing for this competition that will begin September 13 through September 18. Caitlyn will be wrestling on Thursday September 15. First Session will be at 2:00 AM ET with the finals being at 10 AM ET. The event will be on Flowrestling.
The rest of the year the girls will be required to go to various camps and tours that will include Phoenix AZ, Vancouver Canada, New York City, Klippan Sweden, Oklahoma City, and Colorado Springs.
Along with this great opportunity comes an expense. So we are asking our Mohawk family to help defray some of these costs by contributing to the Walker fund. Any amount you would be willing to donate would be greatly appreciated.

Amanda Walker added another National Title to her record by winning the NuWay National Championship at 120. Patrick Walker placed 4th at 220.
Mohawk sends 5 wrestlers to National Championship in Fargo, ND. On the mens side Riley Palmer (138), Trevor Elfvin (152) and Vincent Stabilito (170) but they did not place. On the Girls side we had Caitlyn Walker win a National Title at Cadet 88 and Amanda was a 2X All American placing 4th at Cadet 108 and became the National Runner Up at Junior 112.

Two Mohawk girls shined at 2016 Body Bar Caitlyn and Amanda Walker. Caitlyn won her weight class to make the World Team and Cadet National Team and Amanda placed 3rd at 49 KG.
While the boys were wrestling in the club duals our girls Amanda and Caitlyn Walker were wrestling in the 3rd Annual Beat the Streets Gotham City that took place at Columbia University in New York City. Amanda won the tilte in both Cadet (105) and Junior (108). Caitlyn won Cadet 84 and moved up to Junior 97 and placed 3rd. Hard work does pay off for these girls who will both compete in the Body Bar National Championship on May 20 - 22 in Texas.
Mohawk Junior Dual Team places 8th in PAWF Junior Club Duals on Mothers Day. They placed second in there pool and then dropped two straight matches to place 8th. Leading the way for Mohawk with 4 wins was Vincent Stabilito, Luke Lucerne, Cameron Robinson, Trevor Elfvin, Cary and Riley Palmer all had 3 wins.

Caitlyn Walker wins National Title at 2016 USWA Girls Folkstyle Nation Championships held in Oklahoma City, OK. Kaitlyn wrestled in the Cadet Division and pinned in the finals to win the 88 pound title.
Amanda Walker won two medals over the weekend she finished 5th at Cadet 108 and finished 5th at Junior 105. Great job by the Walker girls you make us so Proud. I see some Fargo medals in your future.
